Attorney Jeremy Hoff is the Owner and Managing Attorney of HOFF & COMPANY LTD ATTORNEYS. Jeremy represents individuals, families, businesses, municipalities, and other organizations on a variety of legal matters including residential and commercial real estate transactions, land use, permitting, construction, and land conservation, corporate and small business law, commercial transactions and financing, energy and utility matters, and general counsel/home office services.
Jeremy has represented clients all over northern Vermont since 2008 and spends a considerable amount of time working in and around many of Vermont’s ski towns and resort communities including Stowe, Smuggler’s Notch, Bolton Valley, and Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley. Jeremy’s diverse legal background, which includes significant transactional, small business, regulatory, and litigation experience, enables him to serve as general counsel to many clients who value having continuity of service and a single point of contact for their various legal matters.
Jeremy is admitted to practice in the state courts of Vermont and Iowa, as well as the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Vermont. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont (B.A. 1999) and Vermont Law School, having received a Master of Studies in Environmental Law (M.S.E.L.) in 2004 and J.D. in 2007.
Jeremy lives in Richmond with his wife and two sons. He is an avid skier and longtime season-passholder at Bolton Valley Resort and Stowe Mountain Resort.
